Der Pole muss das Tor des FC Barcelona räumen, wird am Samstag bei der LaLiga-Partie bei Real Valladolid – ab 21 Uhr hier im Liveticker – nicht zwischen den Pfosten stehen.
Das hat Barça-Trainer Hansi Flick (60) auf einer Pressekonferenz vor dem Spiel bestätigt. Szczesny wird nicht wegen schlechter Leitungen herausgenommen, sondern weil Barcelonas Nummer eins wieder fit ist.

Nach seiner langen Verletzung ist Nationalspieler Marc-André ter Stegen (33) wieder genesen, wird am Samstag sein Comeback feiern.

Ter Stegen hatte sich vor sieben Monaten einen Patellasehnenriss zugezogen, musst anschließend operiert werden und hatte seitdem kein Spiel mehr für Barcelona bestreiten können. Jetzt ist er zurück.
[–>Szczesny rückt damit erst einmal ins zweite Glied zurück. Der Keeper wurde von Barça nach der ter-Stegen-Verletzung aus der Fußball-Rente geholt. Szczesny hatte im vergangenen Sommer seine Karriere bei Juventus Turin für beendet erklärt. Für Barça kehrte er ins Tor zurück – und überzeugte direkt. Der Pole hat großen Anteil daran, dass die Katalanen auf Meisterkurs und im Champions-League-Halbfinale sind. Den Pokal-Sieg hat das Team schon eingefahren.
