Ahora los dos están en el ocaso de sus carreras. Tras su salida del Real Madrid, el ‘bicho’ ha pasado por dos grandes equipos, como lo son Juventus y Manchester United (otra vez), antes de llegar al fútbol saudí, más concretamente al Al Nassr. Aquí es el capitán indiscutido y el jugador mejor pagado de la plantilla, con ellos ha conseguido únicamente la Copa Árabe de Campeones en 2023, a parte de ser nombrado mejor jugador de 2024 en Arabia y tener más que encarrilado el ‘pichichi’ liguero esta campaña.

Parece ser que el destino de estas dos leyendas, estará ligado hasta el día de sus retiros. Aún no han jugado ningún partido juntos para el beneplácito de los fans del fútbol, pero propuestas no han faltado.
