Vampeta sugere que a CBF coloque um ponto final na indefinição sobre o novo técnico do Brasil. Levando em conta o desligamento iminente de Jorge Jesus no Al-Hilal, o ex-jogador projeta um acerto rápido entre as partes. Neste cenário, a eventual escolha da entidade em seguir aguardando Carlo Ancelotti foi totalmente reprovada.
“Sabendo que ele foi demitido, eu já ia logo pra dentro e resolvia essa situação. ‘Você é o treinador, um abraço’. Tem jogo daqui um mês. Pega logo o cara, ele está (sendo) desligado e entrega a seleção pra ele.”, disse o Velho Vamp, no Bate-Pronto, da Jovem Pan.
“É Ancelotti pra lá e pra cá, vão esperar pra ver se o Barcelona ganha… não sabe se ele vai querer vir.”, acrescentou.
Risco da seleção perder Jorge Jesus?
Mesmo que Jorge Jesus tenha o desejo de assumir o Brasil, Vampeta não descarta que o português decline do convite. Caso a CBF insista em Ancelotti, o ex-comandante do Flamengo pode rechaçar o posto de “plano B” da entidade.
“Vamos supor que o Ancelotti não venha, o Jorge Jesus fale que foi a segunda opção e não queira também. O Abel não vai sair do Palmeiras. Quem seria?”, alertou.

Na visão de Flavio Prado, o técnico da seleção, caso seja estrangeiro, precisa de um currículo extraordinário. Sem considerar o histórico no futebol brasileiro como algo suficiente, o jornalista rechaça que Jorge Jesus seja o nome ideal para o cargo, algo também atrelado ao status de Abel Ferreira.
“Eu não colocaria nenhum deles! Minha primeira opção seria Rogério Ceni ou Roger Machado. Para ser treinador de fora, o Ancelotti é ok. Ele tem um currículo espetacular. Os outros não têm currículo para dirigir a seleção brasileira.”
