Podle analýzy sportovního experta Fortuny Romana Kovaříka by Švédům mohlo k vítězství pomoci domácí prostředí, ale také posily ze zámořské NHL. Chybět by ve švédské soupisce neměl například Mika Zibanejad z New York Rangers, Mikael Backlund z Calgary Flames nebo Leo Carlsson z Anaheim Ducks.
„Poslední vítězství reprezentace Tre Kronor (Tří korunek) je z roku 2018, hlad po úspěchu je tak u Seveřanů veliký,“ uvedl Kovařík. Kanada naopak podle něj přijede patrně se slabším výběrem než loni do Česka a její sestava bude postavená spíše z mladších hráčů. Kromě Švédska se letošní mistrovství uskuteční také v Dánsku.
Z dat Tipsportu a Chance vyplývá, že na vítězství Švédska míří přes třetinu všech sázek. Dalších 30 procent je vsazeno na výhru Kanady. Zatímco Kanadě bookmakeři Tipsportu mírně snížily kurz z 4,3:1 na 4:1, Švédům ho naopak zvýšili ze 4:1 na 4,3:1. Na vítězství České republiky se u skupiny Tipsport, do které patří také Chance, uzavřely sázky za zhruba 225.000 Kč. Velmi nízký kurz 1,1:1 je na to, že Češi titul mistrů světa neobhájí.
Také v soupisce české reprezentace budou podobně jako v kanadské letos chybět někteří klíčoví hráči – obránce Radko Gudas či útočníci Dominik Kubalík a Ondřej Kaše, kteří loni přispěli k vítězství v Praze. Dorazit má ale sedminásobný vítěz Zlaté hokejky David Pastrňák. Podle sázkových kanceláří je pravděpodobné, že Česko postoupí do semifinále a umístí se nejhůře čtvrté.
Vyšší kurzy než na národní tým jsou nyní například na triumf Finska, ale také Švýcarska, které se loni s Českem střetlo ve finále. Se Švýcary se česká reprezentace utká také ve svém úvodním zápase základní skupiny. V zápase momentálně bookmakeři věří spíše Česku, vyhrát by podle nich mohlo už v základní hrací době. Výrazně by podle kurzů neměli na šampionátu překvapit Lotyši, bronzoví z roku 2023.
Mistrovství světa začne příští pátek 9. května a skončí v neděli 25. května. Konat se bude ve švédském Stockholmu a v dánském Herningu, kde odehraje základní skupinu také česká reprezentace.
