Neste sábado, o Bayern ficou muito próximo de garantir o 34º título da Bundesliga em um jogo emocionante, mas o Leipzig colocou água no chope dos visitantes e arrancou um empate em 3 a 3 no fim dos acréscimos do segundo tempo. O Bayern ainda pode ser campeão no domingo, em caso de derrota ou empate do Bayer Leverkusen.
Agora com 76 pontos, nove à frente do Leverkusen, o Bayern praticamente já está com a mão na taça. Mesmo se o vice-líder vencer as próximas três partidas e a equipe de Munique perder nas últimas duas rodadas, os times terminariam empatados na tabela ao final das 34 rodadas. Como o critério de desempate é o saldo de gols, os 61 tentos do Bayern contra os 31 do adversário são mais do que suficientes para encaminhar o título.
Em um momento em que o Bayern de Munique precisava apenas segurar a vitória — conquistada heroicamente —, o Leipzig empatou mais uma vez a partida já aos 49 minutos do segundo tempo, com um gol salvador de Poulsen. Harry Kane, suspenso da partida, já havia descido ao gramado na expectativa de comemorar o título quando foi surpreendido com o gol adversário.
A expectativa era de festa antes mesmo de a bola rolar em Leipzig, mas faltou combinar com os mandantes. O Bayern começou mal na partida e no primeiro tempo, apesar de dominar o adversário na posse da bola, o Leipzig foi eficiente e abriu o placar com Sesko, aos 11 minutos, e ampliou com Klostermann, aos 39.
Na volta do intervalo, o Bayern arrumou a casa e chegou ao empate no início da segunda etapa, com dois gols em um intervalo de 45 segundos, ao empate relâmpago. Aos 13 minutos, Dier diminuiu a vantagem dos donos da casa, e Olise deixou tudo igual no marcador no minuto seguinte.
Com a confiança em alta, o Bayern assumiu definitivamente o controle da partida, e parecia questão de tempo até que tomasse à frente do placar. Foi o que aconteceu aos 38 minutos, quando Sané acertou um belo chute do início da grande área e colocou o time de Munique na dianteira, se aproximando bastante dos três pontos que garantiriam o título.
O que parecia ser uma contagem regressiva até o cronômetro zerar e o Bayern comemorar o 34º título alemão se transformou em um pesadelo com o gol de Poulsen aos 49 minutos.
