Zwischen den Trainer-Giganten flogen über Jahre die taktischen Fetzen. Nun lobt der Spanier Klopp in höchsten Tönen und richtet große Worte an seinen Ex-Gegner aus Liverpool.

Schlaflose Nächte für Guardiola wegen Klopp!
Guardiola gibt zu: „Ich hatte noch nie einen Gegner, bei dem ich mit meinem Trainerstab und vielen der Anwesenden so viele Nächte und Nachmittage verbracht habe, um herauszufinden, wie man ihn stoppen kann.“
Diese Worte aus Guardiolas Mund wirken wie ein Ritterschlag für den Ex-Liverpool-Trainer. Und Guardiola setzt noch einen drauf: „Es gab Tage, da dachte ich: ‚Ich habe ihn‘, und am nächsten Tag hat er mich wieder zerstört. Er war bei Weitem der Härteste wegen seiner Spielweise, seiner Übergänge, weil er sehr direkt war, weil er mit vielen Spielern angriff.“

„Diese drei oder vier Meistertitel, die wir gegen Jürgen Klopp gewonnen haben, sind aufgrund des beeindruckenden Niveaus, der größte Erfolg, den wir erzielt haben … ich habe noch nie gegen einen härteren Gegner gespielt“, so der Spanier.
