Trenére, čím si vysvětlujete tak špatný první poločas?
Náš výkon prostě nestačil. Můžeme mluvit o několika světlých momentech, ale to bylo málo. Soupeř si toho sice tolik nevytvořil, neměl mnoho šancí, ale přesto jsme o poločase prohrávali 0:2. Upřímně, bylo to pro nás těžké a vlastně i překvapivé. Ve druhé půli jsem viděl větší energii, ale zkrátka to nestačilo.
Jablonec udeřil dvakrát ze samostatných úniků. Čím si to vysvětlujete?
Rozhodně to nebyl náš plán hrát takto otevřeně. Ještě jsem si ty situace neprohlédl dost podrobně, abych je mohl přesně analyzovat. Obecně bych ale řekl, že nám nefungovalo propojení mezi jednotlivými hráči.

Kluci hráli příliš individuálně. Nebyli napojení na tým – a je jedno, jestli mluvíme o obráncích, nebo záložnících. Věděli jsme, že je Jablonec v tomhle silný, a my jsme mu to výrazně usnadnili.
Ztrácí Sparta sílu?
V poslední době je to jako na houpačce. Asi bychom se o tom nebavili, kdybychom před čtrnácti dny nevyřadili Plzeň v semifinále poháru. Proti Jablonci to ale nebylo dobré. Je to tým, kterému se momentálně daří, je na vlně. I tak je to ale soupeř, kterého bychom doma měli porazit. Všechno je to v hlavách. Musíte být na takového soupeře stoprocentně připraveni a mentálně silní.
Cítíte se po druhé prohře v řadě v ohrožení?
Nejsem asi tím správným člověkem, který by na to měl odpovědět. Vždycky, když se nevyhrává, tak v klubu, jako je Sparta, samozřejmě v ohrožení jste. Co ale můžu garantovat – a co dělám už dva a půl roku, že tomu dávám sto procent. Každý jediný den takhle ke své práci přistupuji. I když jsou naše baterky relativně vybité, svou práci dělám naplno, abych mohl tým vést. Miluju tenhle klub a snažím se pro něj dělat to nejlepší.
