Dass der FC Bayern NICHT Deutscher Meister wird, ist nur noch theoretisch möglich.
Nach dem 3:3 in Leipzig haben die Münchner neun Punkte Vorsprung auf Leverkusen sowie das um 30 Treffer bessere Torverhältnis. Gewinnt Bayer heute nicht in Freiburg, haben die Münchner den Titel definitiv sicher.
Bayern-Star Joshua Kimmich hat darauf aber keine Lust, sagte nach der Partie bei Sky: „Ich hoffe, dass Leverkusen morgen gewinnt.“ Der Nationalspieler will lieber am kommenden Samstag beim Heimspiel gegen Gladbach die Meisterschaft in der heimischen Allianz Arena perfekt machen, nicht „auf dem Sofa“ Meister werden.

Kimmich scherzte auch über die abgesagte Mannschafts-Reise nach Ibiza, die für einen Fall eines Sieges in Leipzig geplant war, von der Klubführung jedoch kassiert worden war. Kimmich mit einem Lachen: „Wir reisen jetzt alle einzeln an, damit es keiner merkt.“
Die Bayern wollten eigentlich am Sonntag mit einem Privatjet auf die Baleareninsel fliegen, um nach einem Jahr Pause die Meisterschaft zu feiern.
Sportvorstand Max Eberl sagte bei Sky: „Wir haben davon gehört, mit der Mannschaft gesprochen. Wir haben das gestern ganz offen miteinander besprochen und gesagt, dass es sich nicht gehört. Der Wettbewerb läuft noch. Die Mannschaft hat es verstanden. Dementsprechend keine Reise.“
Und weiter: „Ich finde, es gehört sich nicht. Wenn wir schon Meister sind, gibt es andere Vereine, die kämpfen noch und ein Wettbewerb läuft. Das war bei den Spielern auch kein großes Thema. Dass die Idee kam, ist in Ordnung. Dass wir noch darüber gesprochen haben, ist noch besser. Deswegen, so ist jetzt der Entscheid.“
