O Craque Neto não poupou críticas ao presidente do Vasco, Pedrinho, e toda a cúpula diretória do clube carioca, após a decisão de vender o mando de campo do jogo contra o Palmeiras pelo Brasileirão. Ao invés de atuar em São Januário, o clube acertou a venda do embate para o estádio Mané Garrincha.
Ao repercutir o resultado negativo do time Cruz-Maltino na capital federal, o apresentador da Band ficou incomodado com a atitude, e indicou que o revés de 1 a 0 pode custar caro mais adiante no certame, em uma possível luta para fugir dos riscos de rebaixamento.
“O Pedrinho mandou todo mundo embora. Aí vai para jogar, não tem treinador, perde o jogo, deixa o Vegetti fora. Não é que eu vendo o jogo, eu vendo a alma, eu vendo o time, os três pontos.
