Na nesestupovou příčku ztrácí nejhorší trio už pět bodů. Přímo padají dva poslední mančafty. Třetí nejhorší tým dostane šanci na záchranu v baráži, což je cíl, k němuž se upíná Boavista.
„Doufám, že se vyškrábeme na barážové místo. Pak uvidíme, jak všechno dopadne,“ přemítal Vaclík.
Nedávná reprezentační jednička patřila k armádě zimních posil, které Boavista podepsala v době, kdy se klub nacházel na posledním místě bez valné naděje na záchranu. Nyní se dotáhla na soupeře, k čemuž Vaclík zásadně přispěl.

Boavista má ovšem náročný los. O víkendu hostí v městské derby FC Porto, které hraje o přímý postup do Evropské ligy. Sezonu dokončuje na hřišti už zachráněné Aroucy.
