Hoje comentarista, Cicinho teve passagens vitoriosas fora do Brasil com a camisa do Real Madrid, da Espanha, e da Roma, da Itália. Mas o ex-jogador não esconde o amor pelo São Paulo durante o videocast “Andreoli Modo On”, apresentado por Felipe Andreoli.
“Apesar da carreira na Europa, minha realização profissional foi no São Paulo. Eu cheguei com muita pressão, tinham acabado de sair o Belletti, Gabriel, e ainda tinha o Cafu na história da lateral, mas eu conquistei meu espaço, do meu jeito, e escrevi meu nome com uma Libertadores e um Mundial”, disse o ex-jogador.
Os títulos que deixaram Cicinho ‘realizado’ na carreira
Com um currículo repleto de títulos, o ídolo do Tricolor Paulista foi sincero e abriu o jogo sobre a conquista que marcou a carreira como jogador: “Eu poderia ter conquistado dez Champions League com o Real Madrid, mas se não tivesse a Libertadores e o Mundial pelo São Paulo, eu seria frustrado. É meu time do coração, ter meu nome ali na história, mostrar pros meus filhos meu nome na sala de troféu do Morumbi, é uma realização”, revelou Cicinho.
O SPFC bateu o Liverpool por 1 a 0 na final do Mundial de Clubes, em jogo realizado no Japão, com gol de Mineiro e uma defesa decisiva de Rogério Ceni na cobrança de falta de Gerrard. Já no título da Libertadores, a equipe encontrou um rival brasileiro, o Athletico Paranaense, e superou o Furacão por 4 a 0.
Comentarista na Band, Cicinho esteve no elenco do São Paulo com outro grande ídolo do clube, Rogério Ceni, que hoje é técnico do Bahia: “Eu já estava contratado pelo Real Madrid, mas ainda ficaria seis meses pelo São Paulo, para jogar o Mundial. O Rogério falava muito sobre o que representaria nas nossas carreiras uma conquista como essa. Era o jogo da nossa vida. Batemos o imbatível”, contou.
“Esses dias falaram que o gol que o Courtois (goleiro do Real Madrid) levou, foi um gol indefensável. Ele deveria ver o DVD do Mundial e aprender com o Rogério Ceni, aquela defesa do chute do Gerrard mostra que é possível!”, relembrou Cicinho sobre o arqueiro na época.
Sobre a festa após a conquista do título, o ex-lateral disse que ‘não pode contar’ os detalhes, mas pontuou: “Lembro da cena do nosso avião chegando no Brasil, aeroporto abarrotado, estávamos escolhendo quem desceria com a taça. Rogério Ceni mandou o Mineiro descer, todo tímido, na maior simplicidade. Se sou eu, aquelas cambalhotas do Vampeta depois do tetra seriam o mínimo (risos). Enquanto estávamos festejando, o Rogério estava assistindo o jogo pela décima vez, vendo tática. Ele estava feliz, comemorava, mas reassistia o jogo e vivia aquilo. Ele é muito centrado”.
