Mit einem Heimsieg gegen Ulm kann der Hamburger SV den Wiederaufstieg in die Fußball-Bundesliga perfekt machen. Sieben Jahre nach dem Abstiegs-Drama 2018 – und mehreren knapp verpassten Aufstiegen in der Folge.
[–>Nun könnte das langjährige Leiden der HSV-Fans endlich ein Ende haben. Vier Punkte beträgt aktuell der Vorsprung des Zweitliga-Tabellenführers auf Elversberg und Paderborn, die zwei Spieltage vor Saisonende punktgleich auf Rang 3 und 4 liegen. Bei einem weiteren Dreier ist dem HSV der Aufstieg nicht mehr zu nehmen.
Einer, der diesen besonderen Moment leider nicht mehr miterleben kann, ist Uwe Seeler (†85). Das größte Idol des Traditionsklubs verstarb am 21. Juli 2022 im Alter von 85 Jahren. Seeler wurde auch außerhalb des Platzes zur Legende, ist seit 2003 Ehrenbürger der Stadt Hamburg.

In seinem Herzensverein ist der größte HSVer aller Zeiten auch nach seinem Tod immer präsent. So wird es auch beim Aufstiegs-Gipfel gegen Ulm am Samstag (20.30 Uhr bei Sky und im SPORT BILD-Liveticker) sein.
SPORT BILD weiß: Der HSV lädt die Seeler-Witwe zum großen Finale ein. Mit seiner Ehefrau Ilka (88) war Seeler seit 1959 63 Jahre verheiratet. Das Paar hat drei Töchter und sieben Enkel. Einer davon ist HSV-Profi Levin Öztunali (29), der zurzeit aber nicht zum Zweitliga-Kader zählt.

Auf dem Rasen wird dabei Abwehrspieler Dennis Hadzikadunic (26) fehlen. Der Bosnier erlitt beim 4:0 in Darmstadt einen Teilriss des Innenbandes am rechten Sprunggelenk sowie einen Teilriss des Innenbandes am rechten Knie. Das vermeldete der HSV nach einer eingehenden Untersuchung im Hamburger Universitätsklinikum. Sowohl für die beiden letzten Saisonspiele gegen Ulm und Fürth sowie in ebenfalls noch möglichen Relegationsspielen würde er ausfallen.
