Walter Casagrande ficou bastante incomodado com o empate amargo do Corinthians com o América de Cali, terça, pela Sul-Americana. Mais do que o resultado, Casão mencionou novamente velhos problemas que atormentam o time paulista.
Além de um sistema defensivo inseguro, o comentarista abordou também a ausência de um líder dentro do elenco corintiano.
“Está faltando para esse bom time uma liderança dentro de campo — e possivelmente fora também. Você vê um segundo tempo como esse e ninguém gritando, aparecendo, partindo para cima, chutando de longe. O Corinthians está jogando mal em casa também, salvo algumas exceções”, escreveu Casagrande.
Casagrande aponta ‘Garro dependência’ no Corinthians
Sem poder contar com Rodrigo Garro, o Corinthians tem tido dificuldades na criação das jogadas. Na avaliação do ex-atacante do Timão, há uma clara dependência do meio-campista argentino também pelo desempenho ruim de Igor Coronado.
O camisa 8 está fora desde 31 de março, logo após a conquista do título paulista e quando foi definido que ele trataria o joelho direito por completo.
“Ainda é muito cedo para uma avaliação um pouco mais segura e para que tivéssemos assim uma definição de uma possível data de retorno. Eu acho que já teríamos que tê-lo em campo, ainda não vem acontecendo. Ele está entregue e fazendo os trabalhos naturalmente dentro da academia“, explicou Dorival Júnior.

O Corinthians volta a campo no próximo sábado (10), às 18h30 (de Brasília), contra o Mirassol, fora de casa, pela oitava rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro. Com 10 pontos, o alvinegro aparece em oitavo lugar na tabela.
