Dorival Júnior comentou sobre o atacante Roger Guedes, que está sendo especulado no Corinthians. Em entrevista coletiva após o empate contra o América de Cali, nesta terça-feira (6), o treinador elogiou o futebol do atleta e deixou em aberto a chance de negociação.
“É outro jogador que tem uma história muito bonita aqui dentro, acho que todos nós conhecemos. Sabemos a capacidade e as qualidades que ele tem. Não sei se é vontade dele voltar nesse instante, nesse momento, acho que tudo isso também tem que ser avaliado, mas é um jogador de muitas qualidades”, definiu o técnico.
Ele jogou no Corinthians entre 2021 e 2023 e teve bons momentos, com 43 gols em 126 jogos. O atacante decidiu sair do clube de Itaquera dois anos atrás após receber proposta astronômica do Al-Rayyan, do Catar.
Agora, o jogador de 28 anos volta a ser ligado ao Timão e o jornalista André Hernan explicou: “Sonha em ter o Roger Guedes de volta quando ele voltar ao Brasil. A relação com o jogador é boa”, definiu ele.

O novo comandante explicou como o Alvinegro Paulista está agindo no mercado da bola neste momento. Ele destacou que alguns atletas estão sendo monitorados.
“Vários nomes são falados, é natural. Nós sempre conversamos a todo momento, não ficamos parados, e não estamos parados em nenhuma situação”, revelou o treinador.
“Estamos sempre atentos ao mercado, a tudo que esteja acontecendo, nós temos uma equipe trabalhando só nesse contexto”, completou Dorival Júnior.
Em situação ruim na Copa Sul-Americana, o campeão do Paulistão 2025 tem outros dois desafios na temporada: Brasileirão Série A e a Copa do Brasil. É possível que o Corinthians tenha mais chances nas competições de mata-mata do que nos pontos corridos.
