Paysandu x Remo em jogo pelo Parazão – (Jorge Luís Totti/Paysandu)
Um dos maiores clássicos do futebol brasileiro, Paysandu e Remo se enfrentam nesta quarta-feira, 7, em busca do título do Parazão. A dupla encara momentos bem diferentes na campanha da segunda divisão do Campeonato Brasileiro.
Campeão da Copa Verde, o Papão da Curuzu é o penúltimo colocado na tabela do Brasileirão Série B, com campanha melhor apenas do que a do Amazonas. São dois pontos conquistados em seis rodadas disputadas. A campanha da equipe tem quatro derrotas e dois empates.
Por outro lado, o Remo está na zona de classificação para o acesso à Série A. Apenas um ponto separa o clube do Vila Nova, primeiro colocado. Na terceira colocação, o time tem a mesma pontuação que o Goiás, vice-líder, mas perdeu nos critérios de desempate e herdou o top-3.
Com três vitórias e três empates, o Leão Azul está invicto na temporada do Brasileirão Série B e chega embalado para a decisão do título do Campeonato Paraense.
Paysandu x Remo em 2025
O duelo entre Remo e Paysandu só aconteceu uma vez na atual temporada. Pela sétima rodada do Parazão, o Leão Azul recebeu o Papão no Mangueirão e a partida terminou empatada em 1 a 1.
Além de estar embalado pela campanha positiva no início do Brasileirão Série B, o Remo ainda tem o melhor ataque, com 21 gols, e a melhor defesa, que levou apenas cinco gols, no Campeonato Paraense.
Por outro lado, o Paysandu tem o artilheiro da competição em 2025. O atacante Nicolas, que balançou a rede seis vezes no torneio.

A final do Parazão será definida em dois jogos. O primeiro embate acontece na noite desta quarta-feira, 7, às 21h, horário de Brasília, no Mangueirão. As equipes logo se encaram novamente para, aí sim, a dupla decidir o campeão da competição.
O duelo de volta, com mando de campo do Remo, será no próximo domingo, 11, às 17h, horário de Brasília, também no estádio do Mangueirão.
