It’s been more than a week since Patrick Mahomes‘ childhood home hit the market, and despite its NFL charm and updated amenities, the property in Tyler, Texas, still hasn’t found a buyer. But leave it to Randi Mahomes, mother of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, to give it a little extra push.
With just two words and a wink emoji, Randi took to X this week and posted, “For sale “, alongside a photo of the house that links directly to its listing. The short but pointed message came after eight days of silence following the home’s official debut on the market. Priced at $285,000, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is where the Mahomes family built memories long before Super Bowl rings entered the picture.

The Tyler home is more than just bricks and mortar, it’s a time capsule of Patrick’s journey from small-town athlete to NFL superstar. Randi once gave fans an intimate look inside the home, revealing items like Patrick’s letterman jacket and a signed, gem-studded Chiefs football.

While saying goodbye hasn’t been easy, Randi’s focus is now on creating new memories in the $825,000 home gifted to her by Patrick, Brittany, and Jackson Mahomes. “It’s time to let a new family start to build their dream there now,” she shared on Instagram, noting how many tears, laughs, and milestones lived within those walls.
But Randi isn’t just moving physically, she’s evolving personally. From launching her Sports Parent Academy to speaking at national events, she’s become a guiding voice for families navigating youth sports. “My biggest win isn’t what you see on Sundays,” she said recently. “It’s raising good humans.”
