Die Zukunft von Superstar Kevin De Bruyne ist weiterhin völlig offen …
Fakt ist: Der Vertrag des Mittelfeldspielers läuft zum Saisonende bei Manchester City aus. Seinen Abschied aus Manchester hatte der Belgier bereits mit einem emotionalen Statement verkündet. Wie geht es jetzt weiter?
De Bruyne hatte vor allem in den letzten Wochen bewiesen, dass er weiterhin auf höchstem Niveau spielen kann – und das auch möchte. Das hatte er immer wieder betont.

[–>Wie der italienische Transfer-Insider Gianluca di Marzio berichtet, hat der belgische Nationalspieler zwei sehr interessante Angebote auf dem Tisch. Demnach zeigen Man Citys Ligakonkurrent FC Liverpool und italienische Spitzenklub SSC Neapel konkretes Interesse.
Bei Liverpool, dem frisch gebackenen Meister der Premier League, muss ebenfalls ein Star-Abgang kompensiert werden. Trent-Alexander Arnold (26) wird die „Reds“ am Saisonende verlassen. Sein Weg wird wohl zu Real Madrid führen. Zwar kann De Bruyne Arnold nicht auf dessen Stamm-Position als Rechtsverteidiger ersetzen, dennoch sollen die Liverpool-Verantwortlichen davon überzeugt sein, dass er das Team mit seiner Erfahrung führen und zum Leistungsträger werden kann. Das wäre ein harter Schlag für City, sollte er tatsächlich zu einem direkten Konkurrenten wechseln.
Bei den Italienern setzt man derweil darauf, dass Landsmann Romelu Lukaku (31) einen entscheidenden Einfluss auf De Bruyne haben könnte. Der Stürmer kickt seit vergangenem Sommer bei Neapel, ist gut befreundet mit dem Mittelfeld-Star. Jetzt soll er helfen, seinen Nationalmannschaftskollegen von einem Italien-Wechsel zu überzeugen.
Allerdings könnte auch ein kurzfristiger Verbleib in Manchester eine Option für De Bruyne sein. Berichten zufolge, könnten die „Cityzens“ ihn mit einem Kurz-Vertrag für den Zeitraum der Klub-WM (14. Juni bis 13. Juli) ausstatten.
Interesse gibt auch aus der US-Liga MLS und Saudi-Arabien. Aber das scheinen aktuell keine Optionen für De Bruyne zu sein.
