Jogadores do Barcelona após eliminação nas semifinais da Champions League (X oficial Barcelona)
Na última terça-feira (6), o Barcelona deu adeus ao sonho de voltar a conquistar a Champions League após ser derrotado pela Inter de Milão pelo placar de 4 a 3 (agregado 7 a 3), em um dos melhores jogos da temporada.
Apesar do poder de recuperação, já que reverteu uma desvantagem de 2 a 0, o Barça voltou a ter problemas na sua defesa. Rivaldo, ex-jogador da equipe catalã, fez sua análise da atuação do clube nas semifinais da Liga dos Campeões.
“Sabemos que houve falhas que não podem acontecer nas semifinais, que também aconteceram em outras partidas desta temporada. Não pode uma equipe como o Barcelona tomar quatro gols em um jogo, como também aconteceu contra Benfica e Atlético de Madrid nessa temporada, e sete em dois jogos contra a Inter de Milão, que não tem a mesma qualidade. Também tomou três gols do Celta de Vigo pelo Campeonato Espanhol. Algo estava acontecendo de errado, e uma hora poderia perder o jogo e não ser suficiente para passar de fase, mesmo jogando bem”, declarou Rivaldo em entrevista à Betfair.
Apesar das críticas em relação ao sistema defensivo, Rivaldo fez questão de valorizar o desempenho do Barcelona na temporada. Principalmente por conta da entrega nos dois jogos das semifinais.
“Fico orgulhoso por os jogadores do Barcelona terem lutado e dado o máximo dentro de campo. Fizeram uma campanha espetacular. É uma pena não terem chegado à final e serem campeões com um time que está jogando tão bem”, declarou o ex-jogador.

Fora da Champions League, o Barcelona agora foca sua atenção em LaLiga. O clube catalão lidera a competição, com 79 pontos ganhos, quatro acima do Real Madrid, adversário do próximo domingo (11).
A vitória em El Clásico não garante o título antecipado, mas deixa o Barça muito próximo da conquista, já que serão sete pontos de vantagem para o Real.
Por outro lado, uma derrota volta a deixar o campeonato em aberto. Porém mesmo assim, o Barcelona seguirá dependendo apenas de si para vencer mais uma vez a competição.
