Vitor Roque parece estar descantando no Palmeiras. O atacante marcou seus primeiros dois gols pelo clube nas partidas contra Vasco e Cerro Porteño, já deixando na torcida grandes esperanças para que, finalmente, um centroavante tenha sucesso a longo prazo com a camisa do clube.
E, além de dar vitórias importantes ao Verdão tanto no Brasileirão como na Libertadores, o ‘Tigrinho’ conseguiu também alcançar uma marca importante em sua carreira. O jogador marcou pela primeira vez desde o começo de 2024, quando ainda era jogador do Barcelona, gols em duas partidas consecutivas.

A sequência aconteceu no começo do último ano, pouco depois de chegar ao Camp Nou vindo do Athletico-PR. Entre o final de janeiro e começo de fevereiro, anotou gols pelo Barça nas partidas contra Villarreal e Alavés, os respectivos sexto e sétimo jogo de sua passagem pela equipe da Catalunha, segundo anotação do Uol Esporte.
Desde então, não tinha marcado gols em jogos em sequência, tanto pelo Barcelona como por sua recente passagem pelo Betis, último clube que defendeu antes de vir para o Palmeiras. E até mesmo tal sequência poderia ter vindo antes para o jogador.

VAR impediu sequência anterior
Também em partida contra o Cerro Porteño, esta no primeiro turno da fase de grupos, e no clássico com o Corinthians, Vitor Roque chegou a marcar na duas partidas, mas em ambas houve a revisão do VAR que anulou os tentos. De certa forma, isto ‘atrasou’ a realização do primeiro gol do jogador com a camisa palmeirense, que só veio no último final de semana.
E também na partida desta quarta-feira (7), por pouco o ‘Tigrinho’ não deixaria sua marca duas vezes, perdendo um gol incrível em um contra-ataque de cara com o goleiro do time paraguaio ao final do primeiro tempo. Também em jogada individual, no final da partida, o atacante conseguiu a redenção e garantiu a vitória do Verdão.
