Felipe Melo imagina que o Vasco terá um ganho importante com Fernando Diniz. O clube carioca pode anunciar ainda nesta sexta-feira (9) a contratação do seu novo técnico para o lugar de Fábio Carille.
O ex-volante, que trabalhou com o treinador no Fluminense, acredita que rapidamente a atitude dos atletas vascaínos será outra nas próximas partidas. Devido à sua exigência, mas, sobretudo, ao cuidado com o ser humano, a expectativa do comentarista é das melhores.
“O Vasco precisava de um treinador assim. É um cara que vai chegar e treinar três horas, vai botar os caras para treinar. Ele é um cara super do bem. Com a chegada do Diniz, no próximo jogo você vai ver uma atitude diferente. Pelo menos vai fazer esse pessoal correr em campo. Tenho certeza”, disse Felipe Melo.
“A chegada do Diniz vai dar esperança. O que ele faz de melhor é cuidar do ser humano e jamais deixará repetir essa atuação do Vasco com o Puerto Cabello”, acrescentou.
Após 11 dias de negociação, as partes acertaram os últimos detalhes para um contrato que será válido até dezembro de 2026. Um dia depois da goleada sofrida para o Puerto Cabello por 4 a 1, o acordo foi selado.
Elogiado por Felipe Melo, Diniz estava livre
Campeão da Libertadores 2023, pelo Fluminense, Diniz estava sem clube desde que foi demitido pelo Cruzeiro no início desta temporada. A princípio, chegou a receber algumas sondagens, mas nenhuma delas evoluiu.
Pelo Tricolor das Laranjeiras, conquistou também a Recopa Sul-Americana de 2024 e o Carioca. Na seleção brasileira, os resultados negativos encurtaram sua passagem.
Pedrinho é fã de Diniz
Ainda quando era comentarista do Sportv, Pedrinho sempre teceu efusivos elogios para Diniz. Como presidente do Vasco, o ex-jogador terá a chance de trabalhar com alguém que tanto admira pelo lado profissional como também pessoal.
