Jetzt äußert sich auch Didi Hamann (51) zu der überraschenden Wende.
Leroy Sané (29) hat die Bayern kalt erwischt. Der Nationalspieler hat kurzerhand seine Berater gewechselt, die zuvor als sicher geglaubte Vertragsverlängerung gerät dadurch ins Wanken.
In seiner Kolumne hat Hamann nun Stellung genommen und den Bayern geraten, drastische Maßnahmen zu ergreifen.

Und empfiehlt: „Der FC Bayern muss sich das Heft des Handelns zurückholen! Darum wäre jetzt ein guter Zeitpunkt, das Angebot für Sane zurückzuziehen.“

Trotz allem weist Hamann darauf hin, dass der Rekordmeister in der Vergangenheit Stars wie Jamal Musiala (22), Alphonso Davies (24) und Joshua Kimmich (30) zu sehr lukrativen Konditionen langfristig gebunden hat.

Hamann macht klar: „Und von daher hat Sané das Recht zu sagen: ‘Warum sollte ich für die Hälfte spielen?’ Sané war neben Olise der beste Bayern-Spieler in den letzten sechs Monaten.“
Zur Einordnung: Zwischen Klub und Spieler war eigentlich längst alles besprochen. Sané sollte für drei weitere Jahre unterschreiben – bei reduziertem Fix-Gehalt (10 Mio. Euro plus Erfolgsboni). Doch kurz vor der Unterschrift folgte der Paukenschlag: Der Nationalspieler trennte sich von seiner bisherigen Berateragentur und holte sich Star-Agent Pini Zahavi (82) an die Seite. Seitdem ist die Verlängerung wieder völlig offen.

Im Dezember 2024 erklärte er: „Für mich gibt es an der Stelle der Bayern keinen Grund, den Vertrag mit Sané zu verlängern. Es hat in den bisherigen fünf Jahren nicht gepasst. Warum sollte es also plötzlich funktionieren? Vielleicht ist er potenziell der beste deutsche Spieler, aber er zeigt es einfach zu selten.“
