In der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga ist Andreas Palicka (38) kein Unbekannter. Der Schwede spielte von 2008 bis 2015 für den THW Kiel, von 2016 bis Ende 2021 für die Rhein-Neckar Löwen. Seit 2022 steht er im Tor von Paris Saint-Germain, beim französischen Top-Klub sorgte Palicka zuletzt für ein Novum.

Beim 37:26-Heimsieg der Pariser gegen Limoges machte Palicka fünf Tore, nur Rechtsaußen David Balaguer traf mit sieben Treffern noch besser für PSG. Fünf Torwart-Tore in einem Spiel – das klingt rekordverdächtig.
Das beweist der Blick auf die aktuelle Statistik der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga. Der Torwart mit den insgesamt meisten Treffern ist Sergey Hernandez vom SC Magdeburg. Der Spanier traf bisher sechs Mal ins Netz. Dahinter rangieren Kristian Saeveras (SC DHfK Leipzig) und Bart Ravensbergen (Frisch Auf Göppingen) mit je vier Treffern.
[–>Von fünf Toren in nur einem Spiel sind also alle ganz weit entfernt. Bemerkenswert ist allerdings, dass Nationalkeeper David Späth (Rhein-Neckar Löwen) schon 17 Assists auf dem eigenen Konto hat. Ähnlich stark agierte Dominik Kuzmanovic (VfL Gummersbach) mit bislang 14 Vorlagen.
Möglich wurde die Treffer-Anhäufung von Handball-Torhütern durch die Regel-Änderung, zugunsten eines Feldspielers auf den Torwart verzichten zu können. Geht es auf der Platte für den Rückwechsel des Keepers zu schnell, entstehen häufig Szenen, in denen das Tor zu lange leer bleibt. Palicka nutzte das eiskalt und fünf Mal gegen Limoges aus.
