Anthony Edwards’ ankle is apparently made of different stuff.
The Minnesota Timberwolves star appeared to sustain a significant injury in Game 2 against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, but was back out there after halftime with few apparent issues.

The injury occurred in the second quarter, when Edwards went down to the floor clutching his left ankle. Replay showed that the foot of Warriors big man Trayce Jackson-Davis landed on Edwards ankle, leaving the 23-year-old sitting on the floor holding the joint as play went on.
Edwards was later helped to the locker room, with trainers preventing him from putting any weight on the bad ankle. The Timberwolves later announced he was questionable to return with a left ankle sprain.
However, over the course of halftime, Edwards went from barely being able to walk on a sprained ankle to running onto the court with the rest of the team. He was healthy enough to start the third quarter for the Timberwolves, despite the team up big with a 56-39 lead.

Again, the videos immediately above and below were taken less than a half-hour apart.
Edwards had previously tweaked that ankle in Game 1 on Tuesday, amid a performance was dull enough that Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch called him out after the game.
His return gave the Timberwolves and their fans a sigh of relief. Minnesota is an enviable position facing the Warriors with Stephen Curry out indefinitely after the former MVP went down with a hamstring strain in Game 1. The series nearly became a matchup of two defanged teams, but the Timberwolves got their guy back faster than anyone expected.
