Nesta semana aconteceu a 4ª rodada da fase de grupos da Copa Libertadores da América com problemas para os times brasileiros. Isso porque dos sete clubes do Brasil que disputam o torneio apenas três conseguiram vencer.
O destaque fica para o Palmeiras, que superou o Cerro Porteño, conseguindo sua 4ª vitória seguida e garantindo sua vaga nas oitavas de final com duas rodadas de antecedência.
O São Paulo também manteve sua invencibilidade na competição ao superar o Alianza Lima, mantendo a liderança do Grupo D e tendo sua classificação bem encaminhada.
Por fim, dentre os destaque positivos, temos o Fortaleza, que goleou o Colo-Colo e fica próximo de avançar de fase e o Botafogo, que superou o Carabobo.
Por outro lado, o empate do Flamengo contra o Central Córdoba deixa a equipe com a vaga nas oitavas de final em risco. Já no ‘Grupo da Morte’, Bahia e Internacional seguem com boas chances de classificação, mas com risco de termos uma ‘final’ no confronto da última rodada entre os dois clubes.

Dos sete brasileiros que disputam a Libertadores, temos um já classificado (Palmeiras) e três com chances de carimbar sua vaga já na próxima rodada (Bahia, Fortaleza e São Paulo). Já Botafogo, Flamengo e Internacional dependem apenas de si para seguir na competição. Porém os dois cariocas podem se despedir do torneio já na próxima rodada e, caso de tropeços na próxima semana.

Bahia
Apesar da derrota nesta semana, o Esquadrão de Aço garante sua classificação caso vença o Atlético Nacional fora de casa, podendo inclusive confirmar até mesmo a liderança do Grupo F com uma rodada de antecedência.
Botafogo
Terceiro colocado do Grupo A, o Glorioso pode ser eliminado na próxima rodada caso seja derrotado pelo Estudiantes e o Universidade de Chile vença o Carabobo. Por outro lado, uma vitória na próxima rodada leva a decisão da vaga e até mesmo a liderança do grupo para a última rodada da fase de grupos.
Flamengo
O Mengão tem uma ‘final contra a LDU na próxima semana. Isso porque caso não consiga vencer os equatorianos, o clube rubro-negro será eliminado na fase de grupos caso o Central Córdoba consiga pelo menos um empate contra o Deportivo Táchica, que perdeu seus quatro jogos até o momento.
Fortaleza
O Leão do Pici tem um confronto direto contra o Bucaramanga na próxima rodada. Uma vitória em casa já carimba sua passagem para a próxima fase da Libertadores.
Internacional
O Colorado também só depende de si para seguir na luta pelo título, inclusive com chances até de terminar a fase de grupos na liderança do Grupo F.
Palmeiras
O Verdão, que garantiu o primeiro lugar do seu grupo, tem como foco agora encerrar a fase de grupos com a melhor campanha geral.
São Paulo
Líder do Grupo D, o Tricolor recebe o Libertad precisando apenas de um empate para garantir sua vaga nas oitavas de final com uma rodada de antecedência.
