Mimo soupisku tak aktuálně z hráčů, kteří jsou s národním týmem v dějišti šampionátu v Herningu, zůstávají brankář Josef Kořenář, obránce Daniel Gazda a útočníci Adam Klapka a Martin Nečas. Tomu nedorazila včas výstroj, a tím, že dnes nebyl na soupisku zapsán, je jasné, že proti Švýcarsku v úvodním duelu MS hrát nebude.
Vzhledem k Nečasovým problémům se dá očekávat, že národní tým bude mít složení útoků stejné jako při trénincích. Elitní lajnu bude tvořit Pastrňák, Sedlák, Červenka, ve druhé formaci zůstane Voženílek s M. Špačkem a Zadinou, třetí bude ve složení Lauko, Kondelík, Flek a čtvrtá Beránek, Kodýtek, Stránský.
Na soupisku můžou být zapsáni tři gólmani a 22 hráčů do pole. Trenéři původně zamýšleli, že si „pošetří“ dvě místa pro případné posily z NHL (Hertl, Kämpf). Teoreticky je to možné i po očekávaném dopsání Martina Nečase na soupisku, nicméně pak by měli k dispozici prozatím sedm obránců. Pokud do kádru zařadí i beka Daniela Gazdu, zůstane jediným čekajícím hráčem do pole útočník Klapka.
MS v hokeji 2025
88. ročník mistrovství světa v hokeji je na programu v termínu od 9. do 25. května 2025. Hostit jej bude Švédsko a Dánsko, konkrétně Stockholm a Herning.
