Harry Kane says that he hopes that Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga victory, the first trophy of his career, is the first of many.
Bayern secured the Bundesliga title last weekend and celebrated in front of their fans following their 2-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, their final home game of the season.

Kane scored the game’s first goal, his 25th in the Bundesliga this campaign and his 37th in all competitions. Michael Olise added Bayern’s second in the 90th minute, taking his tally to 11 goals in his debut Bundesliga campaign.
The league title victory is the 31-year-old striker’s first piece of silverware in his 15-year career, and he spoke on the feeling of finally ending his personal trophy drought.
In a pitchside interview with Sky Germany, the England captain said: “It (winning the Bundesliga) feels amazing. Obviously, it has been a long time coming. A lot of hard work throughout the season.
“I am just proud. Proud of the boys. My family is here. It is a great feeling and I’m looking forward to enjoying next week.
“It doesn’t change the player that I am. It doesn’t change how hard I’ve worked. It has been one of the only things that has been missing from my resume. Hopefully, this is the first of many with this great club and this great team.”

The game against Monchengladbach was also Thomas Muller’s 750th game for Bayern, and his final home game for the club.
The 35-year-old announced in April that he would be leaving Bayern after spending the entirety of his 17-year playing career with the German side.
Muller started the game and was substituted in the 82nd minute. He came off to a standing ovation from the Allianz Arena crowd while embracing all of his teammates and coaching staff.
“I loved being a modern gladiator,” Muller told the crowd. “But I am not sad. I look forward to what is ahead, even though it won’t be half as good.
“We all knew this moment would come. For many, including myself, it is a tough moment but a beautiful one too. The appreciation you (the fans) gave me is unique.”
