Sein langfristiger Ausfall hat die MT Melsungen aus der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga schwer getroffen.
Die Nordhessen müssen bis Februar 2026 auf die Dienste von Nebojsa Simic (32) verzichten. Der Montenegriner hatte sich zuletzt einen Kreuzbandriss zugezogen. Ein extrem schwerer Verlust, Simic hatte bis zu seinem Verletzungs-Aus schon 239 Paraden auf die Platte gebracht.
Die MT Melsungen muss nun handeln und einen Torwart nach verpflichten. Nach Informationen von SPORT BILD haben die Nordhessen einen Kandidaten identifiziert.

Handball-Herbstmeister löst Paraden-Problem
Der Ungar Laszlo Bartusz (33) von Tatabanya KC soll in das Melsunger Visier geraten sein. Während seiner jetzt 15-jährigen Profi-Karriere hat der Keeper immer in Ungarn, aber noch nie im Ausland gespielt. Melsungen wäre die erste Station außerhalb seines Heimatlandes. Für Ungarn hat Bartusz bislang 33 Länderspiele bestritten.
Sein Transfer würde aus Melsungens Tor eine Gulasch-Bude machen. Denn der Herbstmeister und aktuell Tabellenzweite hat bereits einen Ungarn für die Kiste verpflichtet. Kristof Palasics (23) hatte im Januar einen Vertrag ab Juli bis Ende Juni 2027 unterschrieben, er kommt vom ungarischen Top-Klub One Veszprem KC.

In der Bundesliga geht es für die MT Melsungen nach der Länderspiel-Pause mit einer knallharten Prüfung weiter. Freitag (20 Uhr, live bei Dyn/Anzeige) muss der Tabellenzweite bei der TSV Hannover-Burgdorf (Dritter) ran. Melsungen hat wie die Füchse Berlin nur zehn Minuspunkte und dadurch Mitspracherecht bei der Vergabe der deutschen Meisterschaft. Auch beim Final4 der European League (24./25. Mai in Hamburg) sind die Melsunger dabei.
