Fábio Sormani avalia que o Santos está muito distante de atingir o posto de potência do futebol brasileiro. Rechaçando uma comparação envolvendo Palmeiras e Flamengo, o comunicador vê o Peixe, de fato, mais próximo do patamar do Corinthians. Isso porque o acúmulo de dívidas é algo capaz de consolidar o status negativo de “caloteiro”.
“A administração do Marcelo Teixeira é um caos! Ele crê que vai colocar o Santos no mesmo patamar de Palmeiras e Flamengo. Ele falou pra mim. Com essa gestão? Isso credencia o Santos para chegar no mesmo patamar de Palmeiras e Flamengo? Claro que não!”, disse Sormani, em seu canal no YouTube.
“Está muito mais fácil o Santos se equiparar ao Corinthians, outro grande caloteiro da praça, do que ao Palmeiras e Flamengo. A dívida do Corinthians está em R$ 2 bilhões. A dívida do Santos de R$ 750 milhões se equivale porque o Corinthians tem uma arrecadação três vezes maior que o Santos.”, acrescentou.
Problema financeiro para o Santos
Reagindo às dívidas atreladas aos casos Jean Lucas, João Basso e Pedro Caixinha, que somam R$ 45 milhões, Sormani mostrou preocupação com o Santos. Isso porque, sem dinheiro em caixa para cumprir os acordos, o cenário de buscar reforços de peso se encontra totalmente inviável.
“Onde vai arrumar esse dinheiro? Não tem dinheiro. Como é que vai se reforçar na janela da metade do ano? O Santos precisa de um lateral-direito, um zagueiro e um volante. Tem que se conformar com o que tem. Não dá para comprar ninguém.”, externou.

Sormani ressalta necessidade urgente
Para que o Santos inicie um projeto de recuperação, Sormani apoia que o modelo SAF seja adotado. Levando em conta o aporte financeiro com a eventual venda, o pagamento das dívidas e a construção do novo estádio são metas associadas apenas ao sistema de clube-empresa.
“Tá tudo errado dentro do Santos. Caminha de mal a pior. Eu não sei como esse time consegue sobreviver. Se não virar SAF, não tem jeito. É a única saída para colocar esse clube nos trilhos. Pagando o que deve e começando a construção do estádio.”, afirmou.
