Desde que se tornou técnico, Ceni tem passagens por São Paulo, Fortaleza, Cruzeiro e Bahia, além do próprio Flamengo. E em todas as vezes que teve que enfrentar o rubro-negro, seja dentro ou fora de casa, o ex-goleiro não conseguiu sequer um empate. Foram seis gols marcados e 30 sofridos em 15 jogos.
