Dnes nám vážně velmi pomohl,“ chválil trenér Chris Finch svého svěřence, který zaznamenal první triple double v play off. Trefil 10 z 23 střel.
Golden State bez Curryho vedli Jimmy Butler s 33 body, sedmi doskočenými míči i sedmi finálními pasy, o 30 bodů se z lavičky postaral Jonathan Kuminga. „Když nemáte Curryho, není prostor pro chyby. Nelze je dělat, nemůžete ztrácet míče, navíc musíte proměnit správné střely,“ řekl Butler.
Vyrovnaný duel rozhodla až poslední část, v níž Wolves dominovali 33:24. Kromě toho přeskákali soka 44:36, připsali si 28 asistencí ku 21 a nevadilo jim ani 21 ztracených míčů ku 15 Warriors.
Lídry New Yorku byli Jalen Brunson s 27 body nebo Karl-Anthony Towns s 21 body a 15 doskoky. Celtics na druhé straně spoléhali na Paytona Pritcharda s 23 body, Jaysona Tatuma s 22 body, devíti doskoky či sedmi asistencemi. Brown přidal 19 bodů, Derrick White 17 a zkušený Al Horford 15 a devět doskoků.

Rantanen exploded for three more points -- a goal and two assists -- as he powered the Stars to a 5-2 win and a 2-1 series lead.Rantanen wasn't the only member of the Stars giving the Jets fits. Thomas Harley was doing it in all three zones. A budding star on the blue line, Harley played big minutes defensively while also contributing on offense. He was […]

How Thunder won the Jamal Murray matchup — and ultimately a critical Game 4 vs. Nuggets
DENVER — Hours before the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 92-87 Game 4 win, while players were on the floor with coaches working on the mechanical aspects of their individual games, Thunder guard Lu Dort could be found slumped in a courtside seat, poring over defensive film with Thunder assistant David Akinyooye.AdvertisementThis season, Dort made a conscious shift in his pregame routine. NBA players are creatures of habit, and it’s commonplace to see them warm up on the court before retreating to sift through a few game clips, if at all. But Dort flipped it, opting to exercise his brain before touching a basketball.Dort, as Oklahoma City’s most dynamic defender, needs to constantly sharpen his mind. And while his offensive contributions were a big part of their historic 68-win regular season, it’s Dort’s importance at the other end of the floor that […]
