A conquista coroou uma campanha impecável da equipe comandada por Marco Octávio, que terminou o torneio com 100% de aproveitamento.
O gol do título foi marcado por Rodrigo, já nos minutos finais da partida, em um contra-ataque decisivo. O camisa 9 brasileiro, que também havia balançado as redes anteriormente, foi o grande nome da final. A seleção brasileira não sabe o que é perder em tempo normal na competição desde 2019, quando foi eliminada pela Rússia nas quartas de final por 4 a 3.
