Na světovém šampionátu se Fiala představí už posedmé a má i stříbro z roku 2018 z Kodaně a Herningu. „Všichni známe Kevina – jeho oddanost týmu a Švýcarsku je působivá. 88. ročník mistrovství světa v hokeji je na programu v termínu od 9. do 25. května 2025. Hostí jej Švédsko a Dánsko, konkrétně města Stockholm a Herning.
V této sezoně NHL si Fiala připsal v základní části v 81 zápasech 60 bodů za 35 branek a 25 asistencí. V šesti duelech play off zaznamenal tři góly a čtyři přihrávky. Celkem má na kontě bývalý hráč Nashvillu 651 utkání a 488 bodů (211+277). V bojích o Stanleyův pohár sehrál 49 zápasů s bilancí 14 branek a 16 přihrávek.
