I pro sparťanského levého wingbeka byla druhá branka Slavie nepochopitelná. „Původně jsem se přikláněl k tomu, že to bylo rameno, a byl jsem přesvědčený o regulérnosti branky. Co jsem viděl ale následně na videu, tak to nemělo platit,“ měl jasno zkušený obránce.
Jak nesete takový závěr zápasu?
Je potřeba říct, že kdybychom proměnili šance, které jsme měli, tak k tomu vůbec nemuselo dojít. Je potřeba mířit i do vlastních řad. Naše šance jsme měli proměnit.
Na rozhodčí si tedy nebudete stěžovat?
Vyvíjelo se to nějakým způsobem a přišel takový okamžik, kdy je to jasná ruka. Tak je těžké s tím něco už dělat. Zpětně to celé nechápu a je to škoda. Slavia má titul a vlastně jí o nic nejde. Každý chce vyhrát derby, ale tohle celé bylo špatně. Taková rozhodnutí by se měla vymýtit.
S čím jste do zápasu šli?
Slavia měla v první půli lepší pohyb, chtěli jsme to hlavně zjednodušit. Cílili jsme na to, abychom hráli podobně jako Slavia. Oni celou sezonu praktikují nakopávanou. Chápu, že na to mají hráče a jsou v tom silnější. Co se týče přístupu, tak jsme bojovali a nevěšíme hlavy. Byli jsme připraveni o body, ale musíme to hodit za hlavu. Pohár s Olomoucí zvládneme a snad se něco podobného nestane i ve středu.
Jak vnímáte pohárové finále?
Už nemůžeme kompletně zachránit sezonu, na to jsme poztráceli dost bodů. Ztratili jsme místo v tabulce, ale ještě to jde částečně zachránit vyhraným pohárem. To je náš cíl. Je to naše brána do Evropy. Kdyby se nám to nepovedlo, tak každý už zapomene, že jsme se po tolika letech dostali do Ligy mistrů, což by byla škoda. Veškerá soustředěnost tedy směřuje ke středě.
Poprvé po šesti derby nepadla v zápase červená karta. Bylo to klidnější?
Upřímně si nevybavuji žádný „kriminál“, který by stál za červenou. V takovém zápase jsou vždy emoce, což je správně. Když je to ale v rámci férové hry, i třeba tvrdší zákroky, tak s tím nemám problém. Horší jsou ty surové, kdy jde o zdraví hráčů. Je pozitivní, že se nic takového nestalo a hra se tolik nekouskovala. Rozhodčí nerozehrál mariáš. Na druhou stranu – derby bez emocí taky není správné.
Při zranění Matěje Ryneše naskakujete pravidelně. Jak vy osobně se v závěru sezony cítíte?
Jsem unavený, přece jen už nejsem nejmladší. Ale to nejsem jediný. Jsou tu kluci, kteří toho odehráli o hodně víc. Na druhou stranu je to lepší situace, než kdybych nemohl hrát. Je lepší být unavený a nastupovat.
