Neste domingo (11), a equipe comandada por Abel Ferreira retomou a liderança do Brasileirão e chegou aos 19 pontos. A campanha supera o Rubro-Negro, que passou a oscilar com Filipe Luís e foi alvo de muitas críticas na semana anterior.
“Palmeiras é o time mais pronto e que não está oscilando em nenhum torneio que está disputando. Venceu todas na Libertadores até agora, é líder do Brasileiro e venceu o Ceará fora de casa pela Copa do Brasil…”, destacou Casagrande, em coluna publicada no UOL.

Segundo Casão, o foco e a consistência deste Palmeiras deixam bem claro que será um ‘osso duro de roer’ para todos os adversários que cruzarem seu caminho.
“Esse novo time do Abel Ferreira tem tudo para ser ainda melhor que os anteriores, pelo elenco ser mais forte e completo. Não será nada fácil vencer esse Palmeiras incontrolável”, avisou Casagrande.
De fato, o Rubro-Negro teve dois resultados negativos que deixaram o torcedor bastante irritado. Alguns, inclusive, sugeriram o retorno de Jorge Jesus, que está hoje livre no mercado. Filipe Luís garantiu que a turbulência tem sido somente da porta do CT para fora.
Foco na Libertadores
Com vaga assegurada na próxima fase, o Palmeiras enfrenta o Bolívar na próxima quinta-feira (15), às 19h (de Brasília), no Allianz Parque, pela quinta rodada do grupo G da Libertadores. Assim como nos jogos anteriores, Abel deve novamente rodar o elenco.
Pelo Brasileirão, o Verdão joga no sábado contra o Red Bull Bragantino.
