Edmundo não está contente com as contratações que o Vasco tem executado na gestão chefiada por Pedrinho. Em live feita na última sexta (09), ele questionou o volume de reforços trazidos pelo clube nas últimas janelas de transferências, bem como a qualidade dos jogadores.
Na avaliação do comentarista, o clube da Colina vem se arrastando no mercado, optando por buscar atletas em ligas alternativas, do que concentrar as forças em um número mais reduzido de reforços, mas que chegariam para resolver.
“O Vasco contratou muito mal em 2024. E esse ano de novo, no início da temporada tinha contratado jogadores desconhecidos, foi para o mercado de novo. Trouxe três jogadores na Europa, com custo altíssimo, gastando uma fortuna, e nenhum deles arrebentou”, opinou Edmundo.
“O Vasco comprou o Jean David, atleta que ganha um salário altíssimo e não tem mercado. Dizem que fez muito sucesso no México, mas na o deslanchou e os times não querem pagar no que ele ganha”, complementou o ex-jogador.
Depois de ser excluído do grupo “Sempre Vasco”, no qual levou Pedrinho para fazer parte, Edmundo declarou ‘guerra’ ao mandatário do Gigante da Colina, prometendo ser oposição ferrenha, para tirar o ex-meia da presidência do clube no próximo pleito eleitoral.
Incomodado com algumas decisões do presidente, o ex-jogador questionou movimentações no mercado e venda de mando de campo como um dos pontos de descontentamento, e não vê o mandatário atuando como chefe do Executivo e sim como vice de futebol.
