Herning (Od našeho zpravodaje) – Po střele Jakuba Krejčíka mu puk přistál přímo na hokejce a on šikovným objetím poslal českou reprezentaci zkraje druhé třetiny do vedení. „Cítím se skvěle, energie mám hodně, stejně tak kluci v lajně. Dostáváme se do toho a gól byl odměnou pro všechny,“ popisoval Flek. „Ale lví podíl na výhře má Karel Vejmelka. Za stavu 0:0 tam byl od Norů únik v přesilovce, pak řada nebezpečných střel a zvlášť při power play se činil.“
Byla to vskutku v neděli v Herningu pořádná tahanice. Norové hráli tvrdě, ale díky tomu se drželi v zápasu.
„Rozhodčí nastavili volnější metr, zdálo se mi, že hodně zákroků procházelo, řada byla hraničních, možná až za hranou. Ale to není moje práce hodnotit sudí, my jsme se soustředili na sebe, nicméně vždycky je nepříjemné, když soupeř hraje takto,“ vyprávěl Flek.
„Ale udrželi jsme pevnou hlavu, nepouštěli jsme se s nimi do žádných šarvátek, oplácení. Za takto vyrovnaného stavu nechce nikdo udělat zbytečný faul, ulevit si nějakou pěstičkou, která nic neřeší. Oni to ale hráli schválně na naše top kluky.“
Flek očekává, že podobný zápas jako s Norskem nabídne i ten pondělní (znovu od 20.20) proti Dánsku. „Soupeř bude houževnatý, bude hodně bruslit. Půjde o fyzický hokej. Navíc hrají doma. Nečeká nás nic jednoduchého. Za poslední roky se týmy vyrovnávají. Na mistrovství jsem nezažil lehký zápas, zvlášť na velkém hřišti. Kdo pohyb nemá, tak strádá. Musí nám jít na nohy.“
MS v hokeji 2025
88. ročník mistrovství světa v hokeji je na programu v termínu od 9. do 25. května 2025. Hostí jej Švédsko a Dánsko, konkrétně města Stockholm a Herning.
