Jenže videotrenéři hokejové reprezentace Denis Havel s Jakubem Zelenkou sedící během zápasů na tribuně zatím mají na šampionátu v Herningu přesné oko a český tým za tři duely uchránili už od dvou inkasovaných gólů.
Nejprve v úvodním zápasu turnaje proti Švýcarsku, když Sandro Schmid zvyšoval v šesté minutě na 2:0. Po apelu Havla si však Radim Rulík vzal trenérskou výzvu, která dala Čechům za pravdu a trefa Švýcarů neplatila.
„Dobrá práce našich videokoučů. Pracují na tom oba, ale Denis to má na starosti o trochu víc,“ chválil Rulík šestatřicetiletého Havla. Ten u národního týmu pracuje už několik let a na klubové úrovni působí po angažmá v Třinci a Pardubicích aktuálně již pátou sezonou ve Vítkovicích.
MS v hokeji 2025
88. ročník mistrovství světa v hokeji je na programu v termínu od 9. do 25. května 2025. Hostí jej Švédsko a Dánsko, konkrétně města Stockholm a Herning.
V pondělí večer se jeho postřeh hodil národnímu týmu znovu. Po zmatcích v české obraně si Mikkel Aagaard ve 12. minutě položil i na MS debutujícího gólmana Daniela Vladaře a otevřel skóre utkání.
Stejně jako proti Švýcarsku ale i teď trvala radost domácích jen několik desítek vteřin. Zase díky Havlovi…
