Muller apoia dois centroavantes do Brasileirão na seleção de Ancelotti: “Vai dar uma chance”

Muller, em abordagem sobre o futuro da seleção, sinalizou duas ótimas opções ligadas ao ataque. Além de Pedro, presente na última Copa do Mundo, o ex-jogador vê margem para Yuri Alberto ganhar uma chance com Carlo Ancelotti. Neste cenário, caso Dorival Júnior recoloque o Corinthians nos trilhos, não existem dúvidas de que o camisa 9 deve chamar atenção do treinador.

“Eu acredito que vai ter (chances) Lógico que depende da regularidade no Campeonato Brasileiro. O Yuri Alberto é um bom atacante, é o artilheiro do Corinthians. Se o time voltar a se reencontrar com as vitórias, e com o bom futebol que ele teve no Paulistão, o Ancelotti vai dar uma chance para ele com certeza.”, disse Muller, no podcast Tá no Jogo, da Gazeta Esportiva.

“Yuri Alberto e o Pedro, do Flamengo, se eu sou o treinador, estariam os dois juntos na próxima convocação. O Pedro está voltando de confusão agora… eu convocaria porque são dois bons atacantes.”, acrescentou.

Muller exalta trio do Brasileirão

Em relação ao meio-campo, aposta em Raphael Veiga, Gerson e Alan Patrick como ótimas opções para Ancelotti na seleção. Mesmo com a concorrência pesada envolvendo os jogadores do futebol europeu, o comentarista avalia que os três jogadores possuem nível para representar o Brasil.

“Quando começar a ver os jogos do Campeonato Brasileiro, ele vai ver que o Raphael Veiga está jogando muito e o Gerson não pode ficar fora. O Alan Patrick, apesar dessa draga do Internacional, é um bom jogador e que está voando baixo.”, afirmou.

Status da seleção brasileira

Sem um longo período de trabalho antes da Copa de 2026, Muller descartou o favoritismo do Brasil. Atrelando o posto de principal seleção do mundo ao desempenho da Argentina, o ex-jogador indicou outros três times que ocupam um patamar mais elevado.

“Eu acredito que a seleção brasileira não vai chegar como favorita na próxima Copa. Pode conquistar esse favoritismo na prática quando chegar. Mas tem seleções à frente do Brasil. Espanha, França, Inglaterra e, em especial, a melhor seleção do mundo, que é a Argentina.”, opinou.
