Minute eingewechselt. Ein Tor gelang ihm nicht – aber allein der Einsatz war für Vater Ronaldo ein emotionaler Moment.
Auf der Plattform X schrieb der fünfmalige Weltfußballer: „Herzlichen Glückwunsch zu deinem Debüt in Portugals Auswahlteam, Sohn. Bin sehr stolz auf dich!“ Dazu teilte er Fotos seines Juniors im Spiel mit den markanten Locken und im Nationaltrikot.
Die Fußstapfen, in die der junge Ronaldo treten will, könnten größer kaum sein: Der Papa ist mit 136 Treffern in 219 Spielen Rekordtorjäger und Rekordnationalspieler seines Landes. Dazu wurde er mit Portugal 2016 Europameister. Auf Vereinsebene glänzte er bei Sporting Lissabon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus Turin – und spielt derzeit bei Al-Nassr in Saudi-Arabien.
Dort kickt auch der Sohn – allerdings noch in der Jugend des Klubs. In dieser Saison traf er als Linksaußen bereits mehrfach und gilt als vielversprechendes Talent. Seine Spiele für Al-Nassr werden genau beobachtet, Fans und Scouts schauen gespannt auf seine Entwicklung.
