The Cincinnati Reds have now played over one-fourth of their 162 regular-season games. Under new manager Terry Francona, the team was 20-21 after 41 games. The team suffered its seventh shutout in its 42nd game of the year, tying the Pittsburgh Pirates for the most in baseball, but has also scored 10 or more runs four times, including a 10-run first inning last weekend between shutouts. It’s been hard to put a finger on this team, so there’s no shortage of questions about what lies ahead in the next few months.
