Adrenalinu se přesto nevzdal, o čemž svědčí i jeho poslední životní úspěch. V uplynulých dnech zdolal Abraham nejvyšší horu světa Mt. Everest.
„Byla to největší výzva mého života po fyzické, ale především po psychické stránce. Přestože jsem dosáhl vrcholu, musím uznat, že jsem toto dobrodružství podcenil,“ uvádí bývalý jezdec na svém Instagramu. „Vytvořil jsem si vzpomínky, které v mé hlavě zůstanou už navždy. Děkuji svému průvodci za to, že mě bezpečně dovedl na vrchol ze základního tábora za šest dnů!“
Abraham dosáhl vrcholu hory za pouhých 12 dnů ze základny a za šest dnů ze základního tábora. „Je to výrazně kratší výstup než běžná expedice trvající šest až osm týdnů. Pro zdárné ukončení výstupu za 12 dnů je potřeba mít ideální podmínky, dobrou silovou přípravu a dobrý plán. Gratulujeme Karlu Abrahamovi k tomuto úspěchu,“ uvádí na svém instagramovém účtu společnost Alpinist climber expedition, která Abrahamovi k výstupu pomohla.
