O Craque Neto está preocupado com a situação do Corinthians, por conta das sucessivas crises envolvendo a gestão de Augusto Melo e a grande possibilidade de impeachment do mandatário alvinegro.
No “Os Donos da Bola” desta quarta-feira (14), o apresentador da Band repercutiu o constante endividamento do Timão e parte das crises administrativas vividas pelo clube, e prospectou que o ano de 2025 pode ser amargo dentro e fora das quatro linhas, apesar do time ter faturado o título do Paulistão.
“Eu acho que pelo que está acontecendo politicamente, o Corinthians vai ter um ano desastroso. Por conta do Augusto, do impeachment, dos conselheiros, da oposição muito forte que o André Sanchez. Tudo isso vai refletir. Uma catástrofe vai acontecer”, avaliou Craque Neto.
“Ou toma uma atitude politicamente… Isso vai refletir em uma saída do Memphis, uma venda do Hugo, do Garro. Isso acaba o time no ano. Escuta o que eu estou falando”, projetou o ex-jogador.
Dívidas impulsionadas
No balanço financeiro mais recente divulgado, o primeiro ano da gestão de Augusto Melo apresentou um déficit de R$ 181,7 milhões, o que gerou uma grande turbulência nos bastidores, haja vista que o clube vinha há três anos de forma consecutiva registrando um superávit.
Em sua defesa, Augusto alega que as cifras exponenciais foram ‘herança’ da gestão anterior. Neste cenário de débitos, o Timão viu os valores devidos saltarem para a casa dos R$ 2,5 bilhões, sendo assim o clube do futebol nacional como o maior índice de dívida.
Ao passo que fez um alerta sobre o momento financeiro e todo o cenário conturbado vivenciado nos bastidores do Corinthians, o Craque Neto elencou uma situação contrastante, ao credenciar Palmeiras e Flamengo como exemplos de organização e favoritos no pleito pelo Brasileirão e as demais competições da temporada.
Na avaliação dele, os dois clubes, que dominam o futebol brasileiro nos últimos anos, são referências no aspecto financeiro e de administração, o que impacta diretamente, de forma positiva, no desempenho dentro das quatro linhas.
