O São Paulo (SPFC) garantiu vaga nas oitavas da Copa Libertadores de forma emocionante. Nesta quarta (dia 14 de maio de 2025), o Tricolor empatou por 1 a 1 com o Alianza Lima, no estádio Morumbis. O time brasileiro perdia até os minutos finais do segundo tempo, quando Lucca deixou tudo igual.
“Esse elenco tem algo extra que sinto no coração. Esse time tem um extra que nos vai levar a coisas muito lindas. Não um jogador, nem de Cotia, nem os experientes. Todos estão juntos. Temos algo mais que bons jogadores”, destacou o técnico Luis Zubeldía.
“Possivelmente teremos que sofrer. Em alguns pontos, podemos não ter os resultados que queremos, mas ao final da temporada veremos. Tem um espírito de solidariedade entre eles (jogadores)”, acrescentou.
“Tivemos muitos inconvenientes. Mesmo assim, há muita responsabilidade da camisa que estamos vestindo”, prosseguiu Zubeldía.
Lucca balançou as redes justamente na estreia pela categoria profissional. O técnico do SPFC relatou os motivos que levaram a escolhê-lo.
“Durante a semana, o técnico vai tendo mensagens dos jogadores que não conhece. O Lucca vinha de dois bons treinos, além de um trabalho reduzido”, destacou.
“Não foi tão bem num jogo contra o Fluminense sub-20, mas estava muito bem conosco. Vimos que poderia ser uma carta para usarmos no jogo”, prosseguiu Zubeldía.
Próximo jogo do SPFC, de Zubeldía
O SPFC agora redireciona as atenções para o Brasileirão Série A. vai enfrentar o Grêmio, no próximo sábado (17), às 21h (horário de Brasília), no estádio Morumbis. O jogo é válido pela rodada 9.
“Pedimos aos torcedores que nos acompanhem. Agora é deixar a Libertadores um pouco de lado para daqui duas semanas pegarmos o Talleres e entrarmos nas instâncias finais”, finalizou Zubeldía.
