Análise: Flamengo enfim ‘estreia’ na Libertadores e tem atuação para se desafogar dos riscos

A impressão deixada pelo Flamengo ontem no Maracanã é a de finalmente ter estreado nesta Libertadores. Ao contrário das quatro primeiras rodadas da fase de grupos, a equipe de Filipe Luís se impôs do primeiro ao último segundo contra a LDU e venceu por 2 a 0, para enfim se desafogar na competição. O dever de casa foi bem cumprido e deixa o rubro-negro dentro da zona de classificação às oitavas de final. Principal novidade da escalação, Luiz Araújo marcou e deu assistência para Léo Ortiz.

A missão prioritária do Flamengo era vencer por dois gols de diferença e ultrapassar a própria LDU na classificação do Grupo C. Agora, o time é segundo colocado, empatado em oito pontos com o time equatoriano — o líder é o Central Córdoba (11) —, mas vencendo no saldo (2 a 1).

Na última rodada, para não fazer contas, basta ao Fla vencer o lanterna Deportivo Táchira — sem pontos — no Maracanã. Em caso de empate, a LDU não poderá vencer o Central no Equador.

Na noite de ontem, o Flamengo produziu chances para estar até mais confortável neste momento. Ao fim do primeiro tempo, eram 13 finalizações contra uma, e um jogo de ataque contra defesa. Nas cordas, a LDU via um time implacável atacando pelos lados e com bons lançamentos feitos por Gerson, atuando como segundo volante, sua posição de origem.

Empurrado pela torcida, o Fla não demorou a capitalizar a blitz inicial. Luiz Araújo cobrou escanteio pela direita e encontrou Léo Ortiz. O zagueiro subiu alto e cabeceou no cantinho do goleiro Valle.

Luiz é um nome do elenco constantemente envolvido no debate sobre titularidade, por ser apontado como “jogador de segundo tempo”. Porém, o camisa 7 mostrou que merece voltar a ser considerado na corrida por uma vaga no ataque. Especialmente quando seus companheiros de posição, Michael e Bruno Henrique, voltam a fazer jogos ruins, sobretudo na hora da tomada de decisão final.

O gol do alívio enfim veio no segundo tempo, graças a Alex Sandro. Com oito minutos, o lateral-esquerdo ditou seu próprio tempo pelo lado da área e cruzou. O zagueiro Adé afastou, mas Luiz chegou para fuzilar de canhota na pequena área.

O segundo gol permitiu ao Flamengo diminuir a rotação. A LDU ensaiou algumas chegadas, mas não conseguiu ameaçar. Ao rubro-negro, resta validar a boa atuação daqui a duas semanas, contra o Táchira, e seguir ao mata-mata. Agora, o foco é o Brasileirão e o clássico contra o Botafogo, às 18h30 de domingo, no Maracanã.
