O Craque Neto voltou a polemizar nesta sexta-feira (16) ao opinar que a Fifa fará de tudo para ter o Inter Miami, de Lionel Messi, como um dos protagonistas da próxima edição do Mundial de Clubes, que será disputada a partir do próximo mês nos Estados Unidos.
O apresentador da Band tocou no tema durante projeção sobre o desempenho Palmeiras para a temporada. Como o Verdão está na mesma chave do Inter Miami no torneio, ele acredita que o time de Abel Ferreira pode ter dificuldades para tirar os anfitriões do páreo.
“Pra mim, o Palmeiras ganha mais dois títulos esse ano, vai ganhar Libertadores e Copa do Brasil. No Mundial, eu acho que até tem chance, mas tem que ganhar do Porto no primeiro jogo. Os caras vão armar para o Inter Miami”, pontuou o Craque Neto.

Em edição recente do programa “Apito Final”, o Craque Neto prospectou vida complicada para o Palmeiras no Mundial, sinalizando uma possível ‘carteirada’ da Fifa para ter Lionel Messi no mata-mata da competição que tem a cidade de Miami como uma das sedes.
“Mas eles (Fifa) vão fazer um esforço danado para o Inter Miami se classificar, viu! Se ganhar do Porto, o Palmeiras tem chances de se classificar. Porque o Messi tem que estar (entre os classificados). Se o Messi não estiver, como vai fazer?”, avaliou o ex-jogador na oportunidade.
Quando começa o Mundial de Clubes?
O pontapé inicial do Mundial de Clubes será dado no dia 14 de junho, às 21h (de Brasília), justamente com o duelo do Inter Miami contra o Al-Ahly. O jogo será o único do dia. Horas depois, já no dia 15, será a vez do Palmeiras e Botafogo estrearem pelos seus respectivos grupos.
Em modelo novo, a competição terá cada equipe realizando três jogos na primeira fase, onde os dois primeiros colocados de cada chave avançam às oitavas de final. Além do Palmeiras e o Botafogo, o Brasil contará com Flamengo e Fluminense como representantes.
