O Crystal Palace pode voltar a ser campeão após 24 anos. Neste sábado (17), o clube do investidor John Textor enfrenta o Manchester City. A final da Copa da Inglaterra está marcada para ocorrer a partir das 12h30 (horário de Brasília), no Estádio de Wembley.
“É como se fosse uma partida normal. Existe muito mais atenção e entrevistas durante a semana, mas nossa preparação tem sido mais ou menos a mesma em relação aos jogos do Campeonato Inglês, da semifinal ou das quartas de final”, declarou o técnico Oliver Glasner.
O treinador do Crystal Palace confirmou que Adam Wharton está disponível. O meio-campista era dúvida por razões médicas
“É uma boa notícia. Ele treinou normalmente durante a semana e está disponível. Ainda temos algumas decisões para tomar, mas são boas decisões”, disse Glasner.
Por outro lado, o clube tem dois desfalques. São eles: Doucouré e Riad. A dupla está machucada, conforme o site Whoscored.
Nesse sentido, o provável Crystal Palace contra o Manchester City é formado por: Henderson; Richard, Lacroix e Guéhi; Muñoz, Wharton, Lerma e Mitchell; Eze, Sarr e Mateta.
“Nossa concentração está em nosso modelo de jogo. Talvez ou um ou dois pequenos ajustes sejam necessários porque os jogadores fizeram um ótimo trabalho nas últimas semanas. Estamos confiantes para a final”, assegurou Glasner.
