

Já sem o presidente Ednaldo Rodrigues como principal interlocutor na CBF, depois do afastamento definido pela Justiça do Rio, o técnico Carlo Ancelotti finalizou as reuniões com enviados da entidade à Espanha para fazer a convocação da seleção brasileira para a data Fifa de junho.
A lista larga a ser enviada à Fifa no domingo está quase pronta e o italiano confirmou viagem ao Brasil no dia 26 para a convocação final dos 23 nomes para os jogos contra Equador e Paraguai, dias 5 e 10 de junho, respectivamente.
Além dos convocados, Ancelotti anuncia junto à CBF no dia 26 os membros de sua comissão técnica, que terá como auxiliares o filho Davide e o genro, Mino Fulco, além do italiano Francesco Mauri. A CBF quer manter os brasileiros na comissão permanente, entre eles o analista Thomaz Koerich e o fisiologista Guilherme Passos.
Novas mudanças serão avaliadas na chegada do diretor Rodrigo Caetano ao Brasil no fim de semana. Com a nova eleição convocada para o dia 25, o dirigente ainda não tem permanência no cargo garantida. Outros funcionários estão em compasso de espera, mas o trabalho técnico junto a Ancelotti segue, mesmo sem a participação do presidente Ednaldo Rodrigues.
O novo treinador cumpriu agenda na Espanha com Caetano e Juan, falou sobre os processos da seleção brasileira e se inteirou sobre jogadores convocáveis, assistindo a jogos do futebol brasileiro, inclusive, para montar a lista larga e a convocação do dai 26.
