O Grêmio teve um faturamento anual de R$ 509 milhões em 2024, uma queda de 2% em relação ao que o time arrecadou em 2023. Além disso, se não consideramos as vendas de jogadores, a redução é de 15%. Os custos com futebol subiram em 10%, chegando em R$ 398 milhões, 84% da receita total.
Esse conjunto de fatores causou um impacto na dívida gremista, que hoje está em R$ 562 milhões, conforme mostra estudo da empresa Sports Value, com um resumo das finanças dos principais times do Brasil na última temporada.

A folha salarial do clube chegou a um total de R$ 240 milhões, mais de 50% da receita total de 2024. Além disso, o clube registrou R$ 90 milhões com gastos com despesas administrativas.
O que aliviou o prejuízo gremista foi o valor arrecadado no mercado da bola, com R$ 106 milhões em vendas.
Porém em outras fontes de renda o time apresentou quedas consideráveis, que ajudam a entender a diminuição do faturamento de 2023 para 2024.
Por que é importante fazer a ressalva sobre vendas de jogadores?
O Grêmio foi apenas o 11º time com maior valor arrecadado em 2024 no mercado da bola, com uma diferença considerável para Palmeiras, Corinthians, Athletico Paranaense, Fluminense e Santos, que tiveram os maiores faturamentos na temporada passada.
Além disso, é preciso levar em conta que das fontes de receita, transferências de jogadores é uma das que mais foge do controle dos clubes por conta de outras variáveis.
O exemplo é a comparação de 2023, onde o Imortal teve um faturamento superior ao de 2024, com a saída de atletas sendo a 5ª fonte de receita de seis possíveis, diferente do ano passado.
