O plánech jednoho z nejlepších ligových obránců informoval server Sportsboom.com s odkazem na zdroj, blízký agentuře Aneke Players Management Group. Právě ta zastupuje borce, který se v březnu premiérově objevil i na srazu nigerijského nároďáku.
„Ogbu chce hrát Champions League. Je tím naprosto posedlý a ve Slavii se mu to splní,“ tvrdí zmíněný zdroj. Odchod z Edenu tak není ani zdaleka na spadnutí.

Důvod je zřejmý.
Podle webu Sportsboom.com se v zákulisí hovoří hlavně o zájmu dvou francouzských celků, konkrétně Štrasburku a Lyonu. Kromě toho se Ogbu zalíbil také několika mančaftům v Saúdské Arábii.
Jenže žádný ze zmíněných klubů Ligu mistrů nehraje. Štrasburk se sice v posledním kole Ligue 1 ještě může vyšvihnout na čtvrté místo, jenže to zaručuje jen postup do třetího předkola milionářské soutěže. Nikoliv její hlavní fázi, o níž Ogbu sní. A kterou si ve Slavii jistojistě zahraje.
„Má za sebou skvělou sezonu a stylem hry by zapadal do předních evropských soutěží. Logicky je o něj zájem. Ale pro Slavii je velmi důležitý, což se mu také zamlouvá,“ komentoval přestupové spekulace člověk, blízký hráčově agentuře.
I v případě, že Ogbu doopravdy zmizí, by si ale v Edenu mohli mnout ruce. Alespoň na účetním oddělení. Nigerijského psa obranáře přivedli sešívaní v lednu 2023 z norského Lilleströmu za 2,5 milionu eur (přes 62 milionů korun). V současnosti je jeho tržní hodnota čtyřnásobná.
Dle posledních zpráv to ale vypadá, že Ogbu ve Slavii ještě nějaký ten pátek pobude. S klubem jej pojí platný kontrakt až do prosince příštího roku.
