A zdroje Sport.cz uvádějí, že ani samotný hráč příliš nepočítá, že by ve Vegas dnes výstupní lékařskou kontrolou prošel.
Tomáš Hertl absolvuje v Las Vegas výstupní zdravotní prohlídku dnes odpoledne/vpodvečer evropského času. Podle informací @sportcz by ale jeho přílet na MS byl vzhledem k poranění ramene roven zázraku.

Rytíři si uvědomují, že pustit jednoho ze svých klíčových útočníků na MS, když zdaleka není zdravotně v pořádku, by byl obrovský risk. Zvlášť když český útočník má v klubu smlouvu až do roku 2030 a ročně si přijde v průměru na 8,14 milionu dolarů.
Hertlova pozice v klubu se navíc nedá srovnávat s tou Davida Pastrňáka v Bostonu. Havířovský odchovanec sice loni rovněž nebyl zdravotně zcela fit, na šampionát do Prahy přesto přijel, byť z toho vedení Bruins nebylo zrovna dvakrát nadšené. Hertl však působí ve Vegas pouhý rok a dva měsíce…
MS v hokeji 2025
88. ročník mistrovství světa v hokeji je na programu v termínu od 9. do 25. května 2025. Hostí jej Švédsko a Dánsko, konkrétně města Stockholm a Herning.
A tak se vedení národního týmu musí pomalu smiřovat s tím, že na Hertla letos nedosáhne. A nepomůže ani fakt, že se generální manažer reprezentace Jiří Šlégr osobně zná s prezidentem hokejových operací Vegas Georgem McPheem.
Pozornost národního týmu na to, kdo nahradí na soupisce pro MS zraněného Jáchyma Kondelíka, se tak nyní obrací na Davida Kämpfa. Jeho Toronto prohrává s Floridou 2:3 na zápasy a už v noci na sobotu SELČ může mít po sezoně.
